Mr. MARFITANO lived in Red Cliff many years and was a section foreman here. His children grew up in Red Cliff and went to school here.

RALPH MARFITANO.
A rosary will be recited for Glenwood Springs resident Ralph MARFITANO on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Farnum-Richardson Mortuary.
A Mass of the Resurrection will follow on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church with Father Joseph LEBERER officiating. Burial will be in the Rosebud Cemetery, Glenwood Springs.
MARFITANO, 83, died Jan. 15 at St. Mary's Hospital, Grand Junction.
He was born Oct. 18, 1896, in Cosenza, Italy, and moved to the Grand Junction area with his family at the age of five. He later lived in Salida, Ridgeway, Carbondale and Rifle prior to moving to Glenwood Springs in June of 1962.
He married Stella T. ALLARIA in Ouray on May 24, 1919.
MARFITANO retired from the D&RGW Railroad in 1962 where he had been employed as a section foreman for 42 years.
He was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Glenwood Springs, and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Stella, Glenwood Springs; a son, Roy, Glenwood Springs; a daughter, Mrs. John (Joy) Boltjes, Otis; a brother, John, Westminster; sisters, Carmie SULLEY, Grand Junction, Frances WURL, Denver, Susie COKLONES, Salida, Lucy ALOI, Chula Vista, Calif., Helen ENGLANDER, Denver, and Millie HEFFERMAN, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; five grandchildren and six-great-grandchildren.
