Funeral services for William Emmett NOTTINGHAM Sr., 83, of Grand Junction were held Sunday, April 3rd.
Mr. NOTTINGHAM, an Eagle County native, died March 30 in Grand Junction.
He was born in Gilman on Oct. 16, 1893. He was a lifetime resident of Avon, where he owned and operated a ranch. Mr. NOTTINGHAM's greatest satisfaction was in the land and what it would produce.
After retirement, Mr NOTTINGHAM moved to Grand Junction.
He is survived by two sons, E. Willis NOTTINGHAM of Craig, Colo. and Bill NOTTINGHAM Jr. of Avon; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Imogene) DOLL of Avon, and Mrs. Jack A. (Charlotte) OLESON of Avon; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Eagle Methodist Church with Rev. Donald C. SIMONTON officiating. Burial was at Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle.
