Services held for Ute Terry held on July 5th at the Church of of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Gypsum. Burial was at Sunset View Cemetery. Terry was born Eutice Alonzo Terry, son of John Aaron and Melinda Caroline Anderson Terry, on Jan 29, 1898 at Falcon. Moved to Eagle County at the age of 2 where he has since made his home.
Married Nina Leoro Priest on Jan 18, 1930 in Eagle, making their home first in Edwards, later moving to Gypsum. He was preceded in death by his parents, on son, Lester, granddaughter Jane kay Carter, thre brothers, Jim, Jack and Charlie; two sisters, Viola Blanco and Thelma Strickland.
Survivors include his wife, Nina of Gysum, daughters, Mrs Russel (Wanda) Carter, Mrs. Frank (Bonnie) Carter, both of Edwards, Mrs. Bob (Patricia) Stevenson of Phoenix, son Hoot of Rifle, and George of Eagle, sister Mrsl Leona Brett of Littleton.
