Funeral services for Pete BAKER, of Minturn, were held in La Junta at the Peacock-Green Memorial Chapel Monday, March 14.
Mr. BAKER was born in Fayett, Mo. Feb. 7, 1891 and was 69 at the time of his death. He moved to Minturn from La Junta around 1922 and was employed by the Denver and Rio Grande railroad.
Pete retired a vew years ago, but continued to make his home in Minturn until his recent illness, when he entered the Salida hospital. He passed away mar. 9.
He is survived by two brothers, I. V. BAKER of Carson City, Nev., Reverend E. E. BAKER of Trimes, Okla. and one sister, Mrs. Maude RANK of Seattle, Wash.
Concluding services were held at the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta and burial was beside his brother Fred, who passed away in 1956.
