Today at 1:15 o'clock the soul of Perry A. Burgess left the pain racked body and passed to its reward. While death has long been expected, it came suddenly while he was sitting in a chair. Mr. Burgess was one of Steamboat Spring's pioneers and during his long residence here none were ever found to say otherwise than that he was a just and honest man. He had to an unwonted degree the milk of human kindness, thoughtful, considerate and obliging, a good neighbor and a firm friend. His death is a shock to the whole community, and stricken family have the sympathy of all. The funeral will be a 1:30 tomorrow afternoon.
