Darrel Dean Pagett, age 81, of
Denver, Colorado passed away
Thursday May 10th at the Denver
Hospice. He was born September
3 r d 1 9 3 0 , i n C l a y t o n , N e w
Mexico to John and Mabel Pagett,
the oldest of four children.
He graduated from Grand Junction
High School in 1947.
Darrel started a long career in
the electrical field in 1947, and retired in the year 2002. He worked
for Kendall Electric as an electrician and Project manager. In 1989
Darrel helped his son start Pagett Electric. He was a member of the
IBEW local 969.
Darrel was a strong Christian and had a love for missions. His love
for missions inspired him to wire churches in Colorado,Utah and
New Mexico on the Indian Reservation. He and his wife coached
young teenagers in Bible Quiz for many Years in which they won
three State titles.
Darrel is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Pagett; along
with three children, Rhonda and Hal Moore of Waverley, Iowa;
Terry and Kim Pagett of Centennial, CO. and John Landon and
Anne Pagett of Salem, Oregon; a sister and brother, Bette Eller of
Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Robert and Charlene Pagett of Scotts
Valley, CA. He leaves nine grandchildren, Holly, Lacey, Whitney,
Preston, Tyler, Christen, Daniel, Micah, Abby and one great-grandchild,
Ryker.
He was preceded in death by his father, John; his mother, Mabel,
and his brother, Gerald.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 15th, 10:00 a.m. at Orchard
Road Christian Center, Greenwood Village Colorado with Reece
Bowling officiating.
