Vernon Dean Deaver passed away in Grand Junction, CO, on July
23, 2012. He was 79.
Dean was born April 21, 1933, in Littleton, CO to Earl and Ruth
Ballard. He spent most of his childhood in Meeker and Craig, and
graduated from Craig High School. While in the US Navy, stationed
in Japan, he met and married his wife, Noriko. He was a
member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Dean is survived by his wife, Noriko; his son, James Dean Deaver
of San Diego, CA; his daughters, Catherine Cheryl Braby of Centennial,
CO, and Jeanne Deaver of San Diego, CA; three grandchildren,
and one great-grandchild.
