Wayne Moore passed away February
4, 2013, at the Palisade
Living Center, Palisade, Colorado.
He was 89.
Wayne was born on March 28,
1923, in Saginaw, Michigan from
the union of Arthur and Grace
Moore. He graduated from high
school in Saginaw, Michigan and
later attended college. He was a
United States Army Veteran of WWII and served in Germany.
He married Chun Cha Kwon in 1974, in Newberry, Michigan. She
survives. Wayne was the former Newberry Sherriff for eight years.
The family moved to Grand Junction, CO in 1977. Wayne enjoyed
riding horses and was a member of the NRA.
Wayne leaves behind his wife, Chun Moore of Grand Junction,
CO, and a brother, Rod Moore of Texas and family friend Galan
Wilson of Grand Junction, CO.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m.,
Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of
Western Colorado.

Palisade Living Center.
Services will take place at 3 p.m. March 22 at Veterans Memorial
Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mr. Moore was formerly the sheriff in Newberry, Mich.
Survivors include his wife Chun Cha; and two brothers, Jim of
Michigan and Rod of Texas.
