Rose Mary Wright, 87, of Rifle, passed away June 26, 2011, at the Veteran’s Nursing Home in Rifle.
Rose was born March 2, 1924, in Los Angeles, to William and Doris Marshall. She married Floyd Edgar Wright and went on to serve her country in the Navy for three years. She was also a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church.
Rose leaves behind her daughter June Wright, son Paul Wright, brother Jim Marshall, sister Sue Marshall, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and her “adopted” kids Pat and Marilyn.
Per her request, there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your local library or animal shelter.
