Ryder Wild Worley was born at the Vail Valley Medical Center on Sept. 25 to his loving parents, Stacey and Shawn Worley, of Edwards.
He weighed 6 pounds and was 19 inches long. Ryder's family was blessed to have him for six weeks.
He passed peacefully Nov. 8 at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children in Denver after suffering complications from heart surgery.
Ryder is deeply loved by his parents; grandparents Connie and Dave Dettmer, of Silt; grandparents Jeri and Steve Powles of Eagle; his great-grandmother, Joyce Terry, of Commerce City; and his aunts and uncles.
A graveside ceremony was held Nov. 12 at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs with Father BIll Smith presiding.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children PICU, Pam Wignall, the Vail Valley Charitable Fund, our family and all of our friends in the valley for their love and support.
