Milford Bailey
August 28, 1933 - October 17, 2014
Milford Robert Bailey, 81, passed away at the Veterans Hospice & Palliative Care Center on October 17, 2014.
Milford was a cattle rancher in Crawford, CO for many years and went on to be the owner of the West Elk Inn. He moved to Grand Junction in 2004 to be closer to his daughter, son-n-law, and their family.
He was a proud, honorable, Korean War Veteran, who was passionate about life and loved making people laugh. He was a very generous and kind hearted man. He loved collecting coins, spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors, fall being his favorite season.
He loved listening to and singing, “Big Rock Candy Mountain”, a song that helped him picture heaven. He is now off to a better place, but he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
