MARY E. RULE
Mary Elizabeth RULE, a longtime resident of McCoy, died March 12 at the Platte Valley Medical Center. She was 83.
Mrs. RULE was a resident of Brighton at the time of her death. She worked as a nutritionist/cook for Eagle County School District Re-50J for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Brighton and the women's church circle. She also was a member of Eastern Star Chapter No. 86 in Eagle, the Rebekah Lodge of Eagle County and the Brighton Women's Club. She worked as a volunteer at the Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton and was active with the Brighton Senior Citizen Center.
She was born Feb. 27, 197 in McCoy. She married Fred RULE March 12, 1924, in Glenwood Springs.
Mrs. RULE is survived by sons Dan B. RULE of Morcraft, Wyo., and Larry L. RULE of Brighton; and sister Florence RANDALL of Mesa, Ariz., and Eagle. She has -- grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in April 1980.
A funeral service was held March 15 at the First Presbyterian Church in Brighton. Interment was at Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle.
