June 3, 1927 - March 30, 2016
David W. Haile passed away
March 30, 2016, at the age of
88. His final wish to stay in
his home was granted with the
loving support of his family
and HopeWest Hospice.
Dave was born to the late
Marvin Seth and Mattie Alice
Haile in Seminole, Oklahoma.
His growing up years were
spent in Texas.
Dave is survived by his caring wife of 62 years, Darlene Haile;
sons, Kenneth Haile and Clinton Haile, and daughters, Davene
Collins and Teena Emanuel. He is also survived by 12
grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Dave served in both the Army and Navy. He was a recipient of
WWII Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal,
and American Area Campaign medal. Dave enjoyed his 38 years
of working as an Allstate Insurance agent and the many friends
he made. Dave and Darlene are faithful active members of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served many
positions in the church from scout leader to being a member of
the bishopric.
Dave’s biggest enjoyment was spending time with his family
and later years his face would light up with joy when grandkids
would run into his open arms.
Services will be held Thursday April 7, at 11:00 a.m. at the
LDS Church, 2235 Kingston Rd., Grand Junction, CO.

David W. Haile, 88, Grand Junction, died March 30, 2016, at his
home.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2235 Kingston Road. Interment
will follow at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western
Colorado.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene G.; two sons, Kenneth M. of
Grand Junction and Clinton D. of Murray, Utah; two daughters,
Davene Collins of Grand Junction, and Teena Emanuel of Ridgway;
12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
