Vaunda Lynn Brower, 79, Grand Junction, died June 5, 2016.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints Canyon View Ward, 2542 G Road. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
She was a secretary for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Survivors include two daughters, Carla Mills of Lehi, Utah, and
Cynthia Neff of Grand Junction; one brother, Leon Heaton of Denver; and nine grandchildren.

Vaunda L. Brower, 79, passed away of natural causes on June 5, 2016.
She was born on January 23, 1937, to John Chauncey Heaton and Emily Kirsten Marie Nielsen in Idaho Falls, ID.
Vaunda graduated from Firth High School and attended Ricks, Utah State, Weber State, BYU-I and Mesa State College. She received her B.S. in Business from Mesa State, and retired as Secretary for the Grand Junction FBI office.
She married Ben C. Brower in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
She also resided in Los Angeles, CA; Ogden, UT; El Paso,
TX; Denver, CO; Eatontown, NJ; and Frankfurt, Germany. She
served several missions with her husband to Frankfurt. Her
interests included painting and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Carla (Jerry) Mills of Lehi,
UT, and Cynthia (Aaron) Neff of Grand Junction, CO; brother,
Leon (Doris) Heaton of Denver, CO; sister-in-law, Mary
Carmen Heaton of Provo, UT; nine grandchildren, and four
great-grandchildren.
Services will be held June 13, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS
West Stake Center, 2542 G Road, Grand Junction, CO.
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. Burial will take place
at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
