Services for long-time Steamboat Springs resident Roderick L. MacAdam, 79, of Mesa, Ariz were held at 10 a.m. Jan 22, 1999, at the Chapel of Prayer in Mesa, Ariz.

Roderick died on Monday, January 18, 1999 in Mesa, Ariz.

Roderick was born in Denver and worked in retail sales at Steamboat Lumber. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the American Legion and a Mason.

His wife Floy T. MacAdam, 83, died on Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998 in Mesa, Ariz. Floy was a teacher. She was born in Ruskin, Neb.

Survivors include two daughters, Marlys Borough and Ellen Jane Richards; two sons, Roderick MacAdam and Scott T. MacAdam; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A brother of Floy, Dr. James Thayer, also survives.
