Funeral services for Richard Dean (R.D.) Cantrell Jr were held Feb. 5 at Hart Memorial Hospital in Stilwell, OK with Bro. Interment followed at Zion Cemetery. He was born April 14, 1933 in Stilwell, OK to Richard Dean Cantrell, Sr. and Jeannie Mae (Welch) Cantrell. He died February 2, in Fayetteville, Ark. at the age of 70. He worked as a contractor and serviced in the US Army from April 1953 to March 1955. R.D. was an avid fisherman and enjoyed good cars and having coffee with his buddies. His parents and 10 brothers, Dick, Edward, Charlie, Floyd, Gerald, Ola, Earl, Pete, Levi, and Leon Cantrell preceded him in death. Survivors include three sisters: Geneva Morton, Genola Harrison, and Inola Nolan; best friend Beth Watkins of Stilwell, OK and lots of nieces, nephews, and friends.
