Jake Moss
September 22, 1936 - December 14, 2016
Jake Anthony Moss, 80,
passed away peacefully on
December 14, 2016.
He was predeceased by his
first wife of 27 years, Shanna
Lee (Graham) and two stepchildren,
Mike Brooke and
Rhonda Cadez. He is survived
by his loving wife of 28 years,
Immojean (Mitchell) and his
five children, Deborah Joan
Delfin (Carlos), Lawrence Keith Moss (Colleen), Nancy
Neumann (Ken) Darrel Linn Moss (Janna) and Lorelei
Mabunga (John) as well as three step-children, Traci Sohayda
(Mike), Terry Brooke (April) and Laura Mullins (Odie); also by
29 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Jake served in the United States Army and in the Colorado
National Guard. While serving in the Guard he worked in
various positions for Mountain States Telephone, a company he
stayed with as it changed to Mountain Bell and then US West.
He began as a lineman and worked his way up to engineer. Later
in life he did something he always wanted to: drove a school
bus!
Services were held in Vernal, UT on December 17th and were
held in Grand Junction, CO at The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints located at 3076 E1/2 Road on December 19.
Services were under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral
Home.
