FORMER RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIES IN LOS ANGELES HOME .

Mrs . Anna Edge Linscott , Pioneer Ranch Woman Passed On July 11 Settled In Burns Hole in 1894 . Mrs . Alice Bacon of Eagle received word the past week of the death of her aunt , Mrs . Anna Edge Linscott , at her home in Los Angeles , Calif ., on July 11 . Mrs . Linscott was one of the very early pioneer settlers of Eagle county , With her husband , John Edge , she went into Burns Hole in 1884 , being among the first people to settle in that neighborhood and start ranching . They made their home there until 1910 , then Mr. Edge sold his holdings which had grown to be one of the important cattle ranches of the county . They moved to Los Angeles on selling out , returning to Eagle county and spending the summer months nearly every year , until Mr . Edge died in 1929 . In 1931 , the deceased was married to Mr. M. W. Linscott , who survives her . Hundreds of old fiends in Eagle county will be sorry to learn of Mrs . Llnscott's death , as her memory is pleasant with them .
