He was a geologist and World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma E.; two sons, Charles E. of
Fruita, and Eric J. of Goleta, California; and two daughters, Laurie
A. Gudim and Carrie J. Gudim, both of Fort Collins.
