Jimmy Marvin “Jiggs” Thorson, 76, Grand Junction, died
July 14, 2017, in Grand Junction.
Services will take place at a later date.
He worked in the oilfield and mining industries.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Cozzens Thorson; four sons,
Jimmy E. Thorson of Grand Junction, Timothy W. Glynn of Los
Angeles, Rick Cozzens of Fruita, and Pat Cozzens of Craig; three
daughters, Marlene Kirkpatrick of Aurora, Melinda K. Thorson of
Colorado, and Sherry Fithen of Alberta, Canada; two sisters, Clarice
Ortego of De Beque and Ginger Thorson, both of Grand Junction;
11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
