Frank Terrell, old time resident of Eagle county died in Community hospital in Glenwood Springs last Monday, following a year of failing health. PINK" TERRELL BURIED IN GLENWOOD SEPT. 14.

Funeral services wiere held in New Castel Saturday. Sept- 14 for Frank, "Pink” Terrell, who passed away in a Glenwood hospital Sept. 11, ending the trail for one of Eagle county’s pioneersMr- Terrell" was born to J- I. and Cordelia Terrell Oct. 11, 1871 at Springfield, Mo- and at the age of 12 came to Colorado, settling at Rock creek, the present Gilman In eastern Eagle county, and attended school there- On March 12, 1897 he was united in marriage to Clara Mae Adams at Leadville, and following the trade of a teamster lived in Gilman and Leadville. In 1898 he moved to Minturn with his wife and one child and engaged in railroading and the following year moved to the Eagle river valley and farmed for a number of yearsEight years ago he moved to New Castle with his wife to live his remaining years near his son, Ralph and daughter, Gladys Githins. Mr- Terrell’s health failed him a year ago, and during the past year had been hospitalized several times. He died in the Community Hospital in Glenwood Springs Sept. 11. Farnum Funeral Home were in charge of funeral arrangements, and services were held in the Congregational Church in New Castle and burial in Rosebud Cemetery in GlenwoodPall bearers were Pete Mattivi, William Teale, Cliff Ingram, Clyde Crawford, Charles Burrell and Tony Manupella. Survivors arf Jug widow. Clara; his two children,’’OTldys and Ralph: one sister, Hattie Burtton of Vernal, Utah: one grandchild. Peggy Neuberger and two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
