Victor Mitchel Goossens, 64, of Hayden died at his home on Thursday, March 12, 1987. Services were private. Born in Racine, Wis., on Nov 5, 1922, Victor was the son of Albert and Martha Boryn Goossens. He served in the Armed Forces during the Second World War and was a mason until his retirement. He came to Routt County in 1985.
He leaves four sons, Richard Goossens of Hayden, Robert Goossens of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Bryan Goossens of White Sands, N.M.; three daughters, Betty Lagowski, Robin Goossens and Vicki Goossens, all of Greeley; and two sisters, Mary Christman of Racine, Wis., and Irene Christman of Sturtevan, Wis.
