Raymond Rule: 1923 — 1987.
Raymond Lewis Rule, 63, died in Craig on Thursday, Feb 26, 1987. Services, conducted by the Rev. Don Wasey, were held at the Grant Mortuary in Craig on Wednesday, March 4. at 2 p.m. Interment was in the Craig Cemetery. Pallbearers were John, Richard, Don and Milch Rule, Don VanCleave and Paddy Farrell. Bom in Norton County, Kan., on April 26, 1923, Raymond was the son of Vyrus and Effie Duncan Rule. He served in the Armed Forces during World War II. A carpenter by trade, he lived in the Craig and Steamboat areas since 1972. He leaves five sons, Darrell and Bruce Rule of Steamboat Springs, Roger and Larry Rule of Bayfield and Delbert Rule of Lynn, Kan.; three brothers, Verle Rule of Norton, Kan., Bennie Rule of Anchorage, Alaska, and Jimmie Rule of Cedaredge.
