Esmael "Mike" Trujillo, who served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was Wal-Mart's Santa Claus for 15 years, died Friday at the Hospice of St. John in Denver. He was 80.
Trujillo was born April 21, 1926, in Los Alamos.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Metro/Skyline Funeral Home, 1390 N. Wadsworth Blvd. in Lakewood.
A church viewing will be held Monday from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by services, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 610 Coors St., Lakewood.
Trujillo will be buried with honors at 2 p.m. Monday at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. in Denver. That is followed by a dinner at the LDS church.
