Fannie COLLINS Died in Grand Junction.
Mrs. Fannie E. Collins, widow of the late Thomas Collins of Minturn died in St. Mary's hospital in Grand Junction Feb. 17 after a week's illness.
Mrs. Collins was one of the few remaining Eagle County pioneers, having lived in Red Cliff and Minturn area since a girl. She was 81 years of age, born near Monument, Colo. Feb. 7, 1876.
She was married to Thomas E. Collins August 20, 1919 at Leadville, and the couple lived in Red Cliff until a short time ago when they moved to Minturn to be near her daughter, Mrs. Ethel BAYER.
Also surviving are three grand-children and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John B. PORTER at the Minturn Presbyterian Church February 21. Burial was in the Minturn cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Farnum Mortuary of Glenwood.
Mr. Collins died last December after a lengthy illness.
