Mr. Rogers is posed wearing a bandana around his neck, holding a cigar in his left hand, liquor bottle in his right hand (balanced on his right knee). His right foot is raised on a bench covered with leather chaps.

The Buchholz homestead on Buchholz Mesa. Nicholas is at the far left; Mary is wearing a hat and standing near the door. John, Mary Louise and Beulah Buchholz are also in the picture. There are mounted riders at far right and cattle at midground.
Buchholz Mesa was sold to E. M. Tabor and Nick and John opened a livery business in Eagle.

Pete DeGraw on horseback with riderless mount in background.
Correl James "Pete" DeGraw "...moved to Eagle County in 1924, and homesteaded on Bellyache Mountain. He then worked on the Blue River near Kremmling for a short time, and was later in the sheep business before buying a ranch on Eby Creek and raising cattle. Mr. DeGraw married the former Ruby Ping on April 9, 1941.
He was a brand inspector in Eagle County for 40 years. He was also...
