A cafe next to the Dotsero Drug Company, one of the buildings left from the railroad boom at Dotsero. There are two men seated outside the cafe. It probably also functioned as one of two bars in town (the other was located on Riverside Way on the river bank). The photo was printed April 2, 1933.

They are at the tunnel entrance at Tennessee Pass, most likely on the east side, not far from the depot location. This is the tunnel that collapsed under the highway in July 2012. They are using movable scaffolding (on train wheels) pulled by a horse along the track in the tunnel in order to perform tunnel maintenance. [Information courtesy of Jimmy Blouch]

The house at left was the Michael family home; Edward and Edna operated the Eagle Valley Feed Mill, which is pictured next door to their home. The feed mill was located on Broadway Street in Eagle, Colorado until 1920, when Edward (E.A.) sold to Andrew Christensen. The railroad line can be seen in the foreground with other homes visible behind the Michael property.
