MacDonald Knight standing in the snow on the Red Cliff school grounds. He went to high school in Red Cliff and received his master's degree from Western State College. Mr. Knight was a Fulbright Scholar to France in 1953-54.
Eagle Street is in the background and what is now the Red Cliff Community Church [396 Eagle St.] is at right.

The class of 1912, Eagle County High School. On far left, Mr. Heath (Principal). On far right, Mr. Richards. On Richards' right is Marie Strohm, who later married Wayne Kutz. Edna Baldauf Norgaard may be the woman in the middle.
Edna Mae Baldauf married Carl Norgaard. Carl was in the first graduating class of Eagle County High School in 1910. Edna died Sept. 14, 1988; Carl died in 1962. Their son, Melvin Norgaard, died July 2, 2007.
