Earl Beck married Dessie M. Tomlin in 1918. They moved to Red Cliff in 1921 and had six boys. Earl died in 1939 of a ruptured appendix and Dessie died in 1947.

In 1902, he entered the mercantile business in Gypsum, Colorado, until the time of his death in 1958. WIlliam Henry "Bill" George was born April 21, 1850, in Cooper County, Missouri. His family moved to Valley View, Cooke County, Texas, to help his arthritis or rheumatism. While he was living in Valley View, Texas, Bill George met and married Charity Elizabeth "Libbie" Forster. They married on October 23, 1873, in Cooke County, Texas. -- The Gates Genealogy
Bill died in 1900 in Breckenridge, Colorado.
