Box cars are lined up on the tracks by the loading tippel. The box cars at the center of the photo are underneath the Ben Butler Mine.

The Koprinikar [Koprivnikar] ranch east of Wolcott, with barn and Mormon stacker. The ranch is now the Eagle Springs Golf Club at Wolcott. The barn has been incorporated into the course.

Discarded tires rolled off Highway 24 at Battle Mountain form a tire staircase in the Eagle River Canyon. Rock climbers in the canyon built the staircase to assist in reaching climbing areas.

A postcard with a photograph of Shoshone Falls Power Plant located in Glenwood Canyon near the Hanging Lake tunnels. The power plant is still in operation; the best view is from I-70 westbound. Alda wrote a message to her mother while visiting in Glenwood Springs on the back postmarked August 24, 1915: " Dear mother, got here about 1:30. We tried to get you from Eagle but the --- was out. Mrs. Collins isn't here yet. I met Helen Shyrack on the street....
