Studio portrait of Ellinora "Ellie" Williams Beck. She graduated from Red Cliff Union High School and married Theodore Beck at the Presbyterian Church in Red Cliff. Ellinora's mother, Martha Williams, was postmaster in Red Cliff. Ellie served on the hospital board in Grants, New Mexico, and taught in the literacy program at the women's prison there. She passed away in 2007.

The participants in the Easter Monday Ball 1910 at Monarch, Colorado. The young lady in the center is Dessie Tomlin. To her immediate right are her parents, Maggie and A.Q. Tomlin. Dessie married Ira Earl Beck and moved to Red Cliff in 1921. They had six sons, T.R. (Bud), Buster, Quinn, Bruce, Jack and Russell.
This photograph was damaged when the roof and second floor of the Beck house burned in about 1929. A photo of that fire is: 2012.016.001....

12. Blanche Gay Dump

Studio portrait of Blanche Gay (later married Victor Dump), Red Cliff, Colorado. On the back of the photo: "Blanche Gay, sixteen years old, eighth grade graduation in 1906." [born Feb. 10, 1890] There has been some discussion (with no definitive answer) of this photograph given that another source says it is a wedding portrait.
