At the right are the 56 steps that lead up to the main road through Gilman. The photo was taken after Robert graduated from Colorado School of Mines and before WW II.

From left to right, Betty Mae Dump Elsberry, Ed Dump Dumph, and Ernie Dump Dumph. Len Dump Dumph is perched on the fence post. Mine tailings are visible on East hill side of Eagle Street.
