Cabin belonging to the Tetreault family of Red Cliff. This photo was taken on Oct. 26, 2010. Frank "Frenchy" Tetrault was married to Agnes. They had a son, John, and a daughter, Sue. "Both men were rather small, wiry guys and good workers. Frenchy worked for years as the haulage man for the town of Gilman; the company had a team of horses, a wagon and a sled and he hauled anything he was asked to. Pearl Dump Mize (born December 21, 1911 in Red Cliff), married Harry Mize in 1933. Harry was the son of Bill Mize (Bozeman, Red Cliff, Salida). Pearl worked as a secretary in Gilman from 1950 to 1969. Harry worked as a Maintenance Foreman in Gilman from 1950 to 1972. They have one son, Dick Mize, raised in Gilman, living in Anchorage, Alaska. This picture was taken in August 1975 in front of their retirement home in Salida, Colorado.

In 1883, Eagle County was formed and Red Cliff became the county seat.

Joy Marfitano (Dump Boltjes) on Senior Sneak Day 1938. She is standing at the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun in Colorado Springs. Spencer Penrose built the shrine between 1934 and 1937, dedicating it to Will Rogers who died in a plane crash in 1935. The elevation on the top deck in 8,136 ft. The shrine is now part of Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
