The Chicago photo studio mark infers that the photos were those of John Condon, Doll Brothers' partner, developed after a visit to the ranch.

Terri Vroman portraying Lucy Doll during the Gypsum Cemetery Tour July 16, 2011. The tour was sponsored by the Town of Gypsum in celebration of Gypsum's Centennial, held July 9-17, 2011. The Porchlight Players, a local drama group, portrayed interesting citizens of the town buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

As the Doll Brothers ranch grew in size, brothers Frank and Sam built this three-story flour mill, circa 1900. "Considered modern in its time, the mill ground all wheat produced in the area, putting out 80 barrels a day. The mill even imported wheat to grind. After the mill burned, suspicion followed that the fire had been deliberately set by disgruntled businessmen in the area." -- Shirley Welch, The Eagle River Valley, p.114
