Studio portrait of Cora B. Wise Mayer, 16 years old, standing with her left hand on a prop. Mother of Chester lloyd Mayer, long-time Eagle resident. She was born Cora Wise on February 17, 1870, in Neosho, Missouri. She married William Perry Mayer in 1886; died July 25, 1955. She is buried in the Eagle cemetery.

PRE-1908: Studio portrait of Grace Nottingham (on left) and her music teacher, posed seated with instruments. Grace has a guitar propped in her right hand, left hand on her cheek. The teacher (unidentified) is holding a mandolin in her lap. Grace was the daughter of William H. Nottingham.

Ida Oyler Herwick, wife of Josiah Herwick. She became a member of Pacific Circle, Women of Woodcraft, Circle No. 132 at Eagle, Colorado, on Dec. 16, 1898. She died at Grand Valley, Colorado (now Battlement Mesa, Colorado, on March 8, 1919. -- Carol Crawford McManus, from "Ida, her Labor of Love," 1999.

Photograph of a studio portrait of Ollie Graham. She was a music teacher in Red Cliff, was superintendent of schools, and later married Oscar Myer. Mr. Meyer was shot by Sherbondy in 1935. Bill Luby was the judge in that case.
