The Michaels owned and operated the Eagle Valley Feed Mill, which expanded into a livery and stable, from 1912 to 1920 before selling the business.

The feed mill was located on Broadway Street in Eagle, Colorado until 1920, when Edward (E.A.) sold to Andrew Christensen. The railroad line can be seen in the foreground with other homes visible behind the Michael property.
