Clarence Fair leans on a farm tool in his overalls with the children. The smaller children are Ross and Alice Chambers' children, Donna Louise and Donald, and Ladonna Fair stands in a hat. The Fair family lived and worked on the Chambers Ranch at this time. Clarence Fair also drove a dairy delivery truck for the Chambers family.

This is the original John Cowden family homestead cabin, which was moved about a half a mile from it's original site on Bellyache. Jack Oleson reconstructed the cabin on the Diamond S ranch.

"Guy Barnes was hired as a herdsman by a man named Andrew Christiansen. Mr. Christiansen raised Hereford cattle and needed someone to help with caring for the cattle. Mr. Barnes cared for the cattle on Mr. Christiansen's land in town during the Winter but during the late Spring, Summer and early Fall, Barne's job took him to Mr. Christiansen's cattle on pasture eleven miles North of town."...
