"Along with the move of the county seat came an obligation to build a modern county courthouse. Designed by renowned architect J. Francis Pillsbury, the Eagle County Courthouse was constructed in 1932 at a cost of $60,000. The sheriff's office was on the basement floor along with living quarters for the jailer. 13) Frenchy's Cabin

"Frenchy's Cabin," in Red Cliff, was owned by the Tetreault family of Red Cliff. Members of the Tetreault family worked in Red Cliff and Gilman at the Eagle Mine, which was owned by the Empire Zinc Company.

A postcard of the Glenwood Hot Springs pool taken around 1964. The Glenwood Hot Springs pool opened in 1888 and is still in operation today. This postcard was sent to Alda (Borah) Farnsworth from Ivan and Rae Staton. The postmark is dated May 23, 1964, from Glenwood Springs.

A postcard of the Glenwood Springs railroad station, originally a stop on the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad. The station is still standing and is now owned by the Union Pacific Railroad. The station is served by Amtrak's "California Zephyr." The station first opened in 1904.
