"Thomas E. Collins was born Oct. 23, 1893 at Bells Camp, near Red Cliff to James and Charlotta Collins.
He grew to manhood in Red Cliff and was an employee of the Empire Zinc Co. ... Aug. 20, 1919, Mr. Collins and Mrs. Fannie E. Law were married and made their home in Red Cliff." -- Eagle Valley Enterprise Dec. 20, 1956 p.1

"Charley McCoy's Upper Place in 1930.The original log house was destroyed by fire in 1927 or 1928 and the frame house was built shortly afterwards. This picture shows some of Charley McCoy's top grade of cattle. 151) Waldo's Ranch

"M. H. [Martin H.] and Clara Waldo came to Brush Creek around 1902 and ranched across the creek from the Shryacks until 1917, when they retired in California. Tom Carlin bought the ranch, and subsequent owners were Hans and Thelma Larsen and Glenn and Denzel Norman." -- [History of Brush Creek p.26]
The Waldo's had one daughter who married Ralph Wolverton. This couple had a son, Charles Wolverton.

The windmill at the W. Emmett Nottingham place in Avon. Two men are standing on the bracework. Another building is behind the windmill. [Water was stored in a wooden tank in the attic of the old house. The old garage was moved and destroyed in about 1990.]
