Frank was the son of Harold Robinson, Safety man for the New Jersey Zinc Co. He had a brother, Fred, and a sister, Jane. Frank lived in Red Cliff and was in a logging company, Warren Brothers & Robinson. He had M.S. for years and died in 2009.

"A train of freight wagons like these were a common sight on the road between Wolcott and Routt County points, before the advent of the Moffatt Road. By traveling together freighters could lend assistance to one another in case of an equipment breakdown, encountering a mudhole or a steep grade, of which there were many. 108) Gypsum Flour Mill

As the Doll Brothers ranch grew in size, brothers Frank and Sam built this three-story flour mill, circa 1900. "Considered modern in its time, the mill ground all wheat produced in the area, putting out 80 barrels a day. The mill even imported wheat to grind. After the mill burned, suspicion followed that the fire had been deliberately set by disgruntled businessmen in the area." -- Shirley Welch, The Eagle River Valley, p.114

Sign on the business: Henderson Motors OK Used Cars & Trucks, in Red Cliff, December 1999. Ralph Henderson owned Henderson's Variety Store in Red Cliff and sold cars in Red Cliff for Burt Chevrolet, Denver. Ralph also owned the bus line to Gilman, which took workers back and forth to the mine.
