The Borah family sits for a photograph in 1897. From left to right: Mary (Grant) Borah, Mittie Alda Borah (in butter churn), and Alfred Borah. This photograph was taken by Gene Borah, a relative of Alfred's, on June 6, 1897. Alfred writes in his journal, "Gene Packed his trunk took 2 Photos 1 of Baby in Churn." Alda was six months old.

Birthday party get-together at the home of Ivan Dump on Eagle Street in Red Cliff, Colorado, taken in the early 1950s. Siding had been added to the house after 1948.
