Shared marker for: "Horn, Moms, Lulu Graves, Dec. 11, 1887--June 3, 1977; Dad, Arthur Leonard, Nov. 21, 1882--Nov. 5, 1934," in the McCoy Cemetery. A mountain scene with pines, cattle and a horse and rider is engraved on the marker. A brand is engraved at center. At bottom, the inscription reads: "Married June 7, 1905."

"In some respects similar to the preceeding picture [1992.004A.084], but taken about 1924. Trees obstruct a view of the Hotel and several buildings in back of it that haver never shown in any of the many photographs of McCoy. The little building in the foreground has served as living quarters for a number of people in past years, but is presently the McCoy Post Office. The small white building on the left was built by the Brooks Brothers in 1914....

73) Pete DeGraw

Pete DeGraw on horseback with riderless mount in background.
Correl James "Pete" DeGraw "...moved to Eagle County in 1924, and homesteaded on Bellyache Mountain. He then worked on the Blue River near Kremmling for a short time, and was later in the sheep business before buying a ranch on Eby Creek and raising cattle. Mr. DeGraw married the former Ruby Ping on April 9, 1941.
He was a brand inspector in Eagle County for 40 years. He was also...

Leonard Horn prepares for one of his infamous jumps from cliff to cliff on Red Point in Eagle County. Horn was a known horseman and was the 1963 Colorado Cattleman's Stockman of the Year.

Two unidentified riders with rifles across their saddles at the Doll Brothers Ranch. Fencing and cattle behind them. It's possible that the man on the left is Mr. Stone, livestock foreman on the Doll ranch.
The Chicago photo studio mark infers that the photos were those of John Condon, Doll Brothers' partner, developed after a visit to the ranch.
