He and his wife Lelah and their family of ten lived here until the children were grown, married and had homes of their own. "When Renee and Charlotte Wolf bought the Ebert Ranch on Conger Mesa in 1973, this is how the house looked to them. It was built by Rudolph Ebert about 1912 or right after the homestead cabin was burned to the ground.
