121) Schrupp Ranch House

"Built in 1915, this house on the Schrupp ranch replaced the homestead cabin of 1905 which was much too small for a large family. After Mrs. Schrupp's death in 1913, the older children began leaving home one at a time until Mr. Schrupp passed away in 1938. Henry Schrupp then operated the ranch until Charley and Josephine Ray bought it and lived here before selling the ranch to Raymond Horn, many years later. Since then, the house has remained vacant."...
122) Sneve Ranch

The William Johnson Ranch, formerly the Anthony Sneve Ranch on West Brush Creek. The patent on the ranch was established in 1911. The ranch was purchased by Edna Chambers in 1935. Chambers in turn sold the property to William S. and Nora Johnson in 1938. It is now the site for Sylvan Lake State Park. [A History of Sylvan Lake State Park, by Kathy Heicher]

"This house on the former Adam Stifel ranch isn't quite the same as it was when they homesteaded six miles west of McCoy [Antelope area] shortly after 1900. At that time it was a one room cabin with a dirt roof, but shortly after Reuben was born the two story building was added on and later the lean-to on the east side." -- McCoy Memoirs p.163

"The former Theisen ranch house, as it looked when Larry Puryear occupied it in 1970. Built in 1905, it was home to Martin and Mary Theisen and their three duaghters for many years. The Theisens: Emma, Juanita, Mrs. Mary Theisen, and Marie. Martin and Mary Theisen were married in Denver in 1891. Juanita was born in 1895; Emma in 1897 and Marie in 1902. In 1904, they moved to Routt County and in 1905 they established their own ranch on Congor Mesa.
This photo is labeled 1908 but, from the appearance of the girls, it may have been later. --McCoy Memoirs, p.252

"Charley McCoy's Upper Place in 1930.The original log house was destroyed by fire in 1927 or 1928 and the frame house was built shortly afterwards. This picture shows some of Charley McCoy's top grade of cattle. 137) Waldo's Ranch

"M. H. [Martin H.] and Clara Waldo came to Brush Creek around 1902 and ranched across the creek from the Shryacks until 1917, when they retired in California. Tom Carlin bought the ranch, and subsequent owners were Hans and Thelma Larsen and Glenn and Denzel Norman." -- [History of Brush Creek p.26]
