10) Castle Peak

"This big mountain was my friend when I was a child on Brush Creek, south of Eagle. Was reported me paper, a large portion was expected to fall this year (1982). Wonder if it has happened." - from Alda Borah. The peaks of Castle Peak have changed, but it wasn't until 2015 when more noticeable rocks had disappeared.

Dead Horse Creek begins high in the mountains above Glenwood Canyon, feeding into the now-infamous Hanging Lake. The creek forks into an east/west at Hanging Lake before meeting the Colorado River at the bottom of the canyon.

18) Fulford Camp

Fulford Camp near East Brush Creek. Undated. Fulford, Colorado is located 18 miles south of Eagle and was once a bustling mining town. The Fulford family were influential in local hotels, stores, and mines of the time. Today, many cabins and homes are there with trails and recreation, although the area could be considered closed during the winter months. This photograph was printed on a postcard.
