Studio portrait of Addison L. and Bird Crawford Hockett, early pioneers of Eagle County. He married Birdie Crawford on November 22, 1898. They lived in Gypsum and had six children. Addison's father, Barclay Hockett, first settled on the mouth of Brush Creek in 1882, in an area now known as Hockett Gulch. Barclay Hockett was Eagle's first postmaster. Adrian Reynolds, Jr., in a studio wedding portrait. He married Rhoda May Wall on October 12, 1898, in Arkansas City, Kansas. Mr. Reynolds acquired the Eagle Valley Enterprise in 1918 and published it until 1947, when his daughter, Marilla Reynolds McCain, and her husband, Howard McCain, took over.

Mr. Tomlin divorced Margarete "Maggie" Ellis Tomlin, Dessie's mother, and married Jessie Tomlin, Alice's mother. In the 1940 U.S. Federal Census, Jessie and Alice Tomlin [then 9 yrs. old] lived at 332 Virginia St., Idaho Springs, Colorado. Alice's married name was Roberts. Born April 4, 1931; died Feb. 14, 1997.
