Margaret Smith, Edith Eidem, and Delia Bridget O'Callaghan, three WW II ex-Wacs, bought the Ranch in February 1947 from Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stewart. They operated the 300-acre ranch as a dude ranch. Every American received ration books and stamps for household and consumer goods, such as flour, sugar, and coffee and also consumer goods such as shoes, gasoline, and tires. War Ration Book No. 2 were printed at the beginning of 1943. Stamps were printed in pages and each letter of the alphabet was given 4 stamps, and these stamps were numbered: A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, and so on. This booklet has stamps for R-Z unused.
