"Stacking alfalfa hay with a Mormon stacker on the Conger Mesa Schrupp ranch in 1912. In those days, after hay was cut and raked it was first put in shocks and when ready to be stacked it was loaded on slips or wagons with a fork after hay slings had been placed on the bed of the slip or wagon.
