Verso: "Hanging Lake. Hanging Lake is ten miles East of Glenwood Springs. The lake itself is an emerald sheet of water at the head of a series of terraces, its outer edge projecting somewhat over the wall below, the whole forming a combination of scenic beauty which is absolutely unique."

Avery's Texaco station in Dotsero, with gas pump out front. There is a kerosene pump next to the ice house, where 100 pounds of ice cost 50 cents. Gas price of the day was 14 cents per gallon. Advertisements for Nehi and ice cream are on the station buiding.
