He had a brother, Fred, and a sister, Jane. Frank lived in Red Cliff and was in a logging company, Warren Brothers & Robinson. He had M.S. for years and died in 2009.

Everett was a partner in the sawmill and, in later years, worked for Vail Associates cutting runs in summer and driving a snowcar in winter. Everett married Lorna Hargreaves, whom he met in Australia when he was serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.
